Pink Parcel Review – March 2017

Do you remember the amount of goodies we got in last month’s Pink Parcel? I was more than ready for this months box and excited to see what’s inside. My first thoughts were that, there didn’t seem to be quite as many items as I’ve become used to since subscribing. Maybe we’ve just been spoilt over the last few months!

Pink Parcel

Pink Parcel not only brings you period must-haves in your choice of tampons and/or pads and it’s always enough to see you through until next time, but delivers a host of treats and goodies in the style of beauty and lifestyle products to make your time a little more bearable and feel a little more human. With three different dispatch dates, Pink Parcel have everything ready to take care of you before your period starts.

Pink Parcel

Pink Parcel

Rimmel London The Only One Lipstick (various shades) – This shade of lipstick seems to be everywhere! I’m a little bit jealous of others who have received different shades in this months box as red doesn’t suit me one bit so I wont really use this. However, it will make a good freebie to give to my mum. If you love a bold, bright lip, then this would totally be for you for an evening look or a special occasion. rrp £6.99

Cheeky Woo Woo’ Body Wash from Boozi Body Care (Travel size) – I was so excited when I saw this little bottle of body wash by Boozi. I have seen their products all over Facebook and have even entered some of their competitions, but never been lucky enough to try one of the products. Pink Parcel has enabled me to discover this brand! This cocktail themed body wash smells gorgeous and smells good enough to drink. The combination of sweet peaches and juicy cranberries leaving your skin quenched, nourished and revitalised all day long. The best bit is that it’s cruelty-free! rrp £5.95 for a full size

London Coffee Bag – This sounds stupid, but oh my god! You don’t know how pleased I am to see coffee in this months Pink Parcel! I am a coffee addict. We usually have the get a sample of tea, and I do like tea, but it’s great to see them mixing it up. I would love to see some more coffee in future boxes. rrp £5.99 for a box of 10

Kneipp Mineral Lavendar Bath Salts – Lavender is known for its balancing effects on body and mind and balance is the key to healthy body. I have been using several bath salts over the past few weeks, but unfortunately this hasn’t lived up to the standard of the rest. I’m not a fan of the lavender scent and never have been really so I won’t be using this.

Pink Parcel

Beauty Papier Green Tea Blotting Paper – If you have an oily T-zone like me, then these will be perfect for you. They’re great to put into your handbag to use any time of the day to keep that excess oil at bay. They instantly absorb the excess oil for a matte complexion. All you have to do is press one sheet over the problem areas of your face and the results are instant. rrp £7.99

Lapel Yeah Happy Everything Pin – Pins are such an ‘in’ thing at the minute. I’ve never collected or been obsessed with pins, so it’s not my kind of thing. It is cute and can be added to a bag, coat or somewhere you store your pins. rrp $5.00

Dove Pure Care Dry Oil Shampoo (Travel size) – This shampoo is made from a luxurious formula infused with African Macadamia Oil. It nourishes and beautifies hair to give a lustrous shine and up to 5 times silkier. Shampoo is always running low in our household, so this is definitely great for me. I’m not really picky when it comes to shampoo either. Being a working mum of 2, all I want my hair to be is clean and soft! It’s a cute little travel size too, perfect for over night stays. rrp £2.99 for 250ml

Maza Chocolate 100% Noir – This tablet of chocolate was especially designed and curated for this months Pink Parcel. You only usually find 100% dark chocolate in specialist chocolate shops. Unfortunately, I really didn’t like this and the texture wasn’t very nice and the chocolate was too rich.

My Overall Thoughts

I think I’m going to pause my Pink Parcel subscription for one or two months. I haven’t come to this decision because I don’t like the sub, it’s due to the fact that I have enough sanitary items to last me a fair few months now lol. It will give me the chance to hunt for some new boxes to review for you! There have been quite a few items in this months Pink Parcel that I haven’t liked but it hasn’t put me off the idea of keeping my subscription live for the future. My favourite item has to be the Boozi Body Wash, I’m so glad they decided to collaborate, otherwise I might have never tried their products. Oh! There is also a 15% off voucher inside this months box for you to use on all Boozi Body Care products.

So, how much is Pink Parcel?

If you subscribe today, you can get your first box for just £6.99! The following boxes will just be £10.50 including postage!

Love the sound of the body wash, never heard of that brand before. It’s a shame you’re stopping your subscription for a while but I completely get why, there’s no point wasting money on it if you’re already stocked up and there are so many other exciting boxes out there to try! Looking forward to seeing what you pick 🙂

Thank you so much for the well-written detailed review – I’m really excited to try the shampoo with Macadamia Oil – it seems like a more affordable alternative to other oil-based shampoos

This sounds like a great box. I like that it’s aimed at Periods and not just your average beauty box.

Lovely review shame that you are putting your sub on hold, I’m in the same boat where I have enough to last but don’t want to miss out on a month lol love reading your blog posts! Look forward to seeing what other boxes you get in the meantime 😊

This month’s box was amazing, love the Boozi Body Wash, their products always smell amazing. Didn’t like the chocolate though, wasn’t a fan of the taste but those green tea Blotting sheets will come in really handy!
